WELCOME TO GLASGOW!

The WDSC only comes around every two years. It’s a time to celebrate everything that’s positive about people with Down’s syndrome.

People like Adam Sloan from Glasgow, a 26-year-old with Down’s syndrome, recently awarded a lifetime fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts and Science. People like Sarah Merriman from London. Her Dad, Andy, has written two books about his daughter. People like Fiona Dawson, from Ayr. Fiona is 36 years old, lives independently in her own home. She is now hoping to qualify as a swim coach.

And we have people from South Africa, Algeria, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Canada, India, and New Zealand all sharing their experiences.

Glasgow prides itself on welcoming people to the city. Be part of that welcome.
